Who We Are

AREUFIT Health Services, Inc, led by Jeannine L. Stuart, PhD, was established in 1992 as a sole proprietorship and then incorporated in 1996.  With 18 years of experience, AREUFIT has been at the forefront of worksite health promotion and disease prevention services before “wellness” became a buzz word.  A pioneer in designing mobile health screening vehicles, AREUFIT is founded on the principle of providing outstanding service to others and is committed to achieving excellence in the quality of its services.  We strongly believe that the achievement of these goals is dependent upon the excellence of our employees and a supportive environment that AREUFIT provides.

The AREUFIT staff consists of Health Educators, Exercise Physiologists, Registered Nurses, Massage Therapists, Pulmonary Function technicians, CPR/First Aid instructors and support staff.

 

What We Do

AREUFIT Health Services, Inc is the leading provider of corporate health promotion, disease prevention and wellness services to area companies as well as individuals. We offer preventive health screenings and health promotion packages, health fair development and implementation, health risk appraisals, CPR and first aid classes, seminars, smoking cessation classes, and online continuing education courses.

Currently, AREUFIT provides services in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, Berks and Lancaster counties, New Jersey, Delaware and northeast Maryland.  We provide services to companies of all sizes and budgets and will work with the individualized needs of your company.

The Entrepreneurial Mind Behind AREUFIT

Jeannine L. Stuart, PhD

President

Co-owner and co-founder of AREUFIT Health Services, Inc. completed her undergraduate degree at Ursinus College; with both Master’s & Doctoral work at Temple University. Dr. Stuart’s PhD is in Exercise Physiology.

 Dr. Stuart was awarded the 2007 Small Business Development Center of PA Entrepreneurial Achievement Award. In addition to her work at AREUFIT, Dr. Stuart teaches at West Chester University and volunteers at Community Volunteers in Medicine.

Jeannine lives what she teaches. She is often seen training for marathons (completing 7 in all). She enjoys learning new things, meeting new people and supporting her two favorite teams…the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies (no hot dogs though). Jeannine believes in physical activity and keeps her Boxer dogs Miss Mollie Mae and Dempsey wagging their tails. Jeannine enjoys cooking and eating and has a commitment to brewing her own beers and is most famous for her fabulous homemade Limoncello.
