Part-Time Health Education Specialist with Full Time Opportunity

AREUFIT Health Services, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Health Educator to support its growth in the Philadelphia area. AREUFIT is a leading corporate health and preventive health screening company headquartered in Malvern, PA servicing Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware, Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, and Montgomery counties as well as parts of New Jersey and Delaware.

Job Functions
• Administer all health screenings, counsel participants on results, and provide education to participants and event attendees.
• Drive a mobile screening unit to and from events, direct staff during events, complete daily reports and facilitate maintenance services.
• Contribute to marketing strategies for current and new programs and new seminar development.
• Contribute to ongoing program development, implementation, marketing, and evaluation.
• Participate in outreach programs.
• Provide educational seminars to a variety of audiences.

Requirements
• BS in Public Health/Health Promotion or related degree.
• Proven understanding of basic anatomy and physiology principles.
• Must be willing to travel to Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
• Proof of valid driver’s license and insurance with clean driving record for 3 years.
• Ability to successfully pass child abuse, FBI and criminal history and driver history clearances.
• Ability to successfully complete CPR training.
• Competent in Microsoft Office 2007 applications.
• Daytime hours with some evenings and weekends required.
• Upon transition to Full Time employment must be able to obtain CHES certification.
