Heartsaver CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

On Saturday, October 30, 2010, Eagles Youth Partnership’s Eagles Eye Mobile program, which includes AREUFIT staff, teamed up with Wills Eye Institute and Public Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY) to provide free eye checks for children ages 18 and under who are uninsured and underinsured and do not have proper access to vision care. At each location, nearly 40 percent of all children screened did need and received glasses. The Eagles Eye Mobile also provided two free pairs of glasses for children who were found to need them. More than 1,100 kids received a free screening, exam, and/or glasses at either Wills Eye Hospital or The Eye Institute. AREUFIT is proud to be part of such a special organization! For more information, see Eagles Youth Partnership website or the Eagles Eye Mobile Program website.
