June is National Safety Month, an opportunity to help prevent unnecessary injuries and deaths at work, on the roads, and in our homes and communities. Helmets should be worn by everyone – adults and children – on every ride no matter how long you’re riding your bike, scooter, board or blades. Make sure it fits properly by following these tips:

1. The helmet should have a snug fit all over.
2. Leave no more than one to two fingers space between your chin and the helmet strap.
3. Position your helmet to sit level on your head. It should cover your forehead.
