Orthopedic Injuries are so common, especially in older adults and animals (check out Winnies cool brace!). There are many steps you can take now that will help prevent osteoporosis and orthopedic injuries:

  1. Stay active- exercise helps improve balance and stability! Also, don’t forget to warmup, cool down and stretch, this will help prevent stress fracture and muscle fatigue
  2. Set limits- During physical activity, watch out for warning signs such as dizziness, pain or nausea
  3. Wear supportive shoes- wear supportive shoes at all times
